The Faculty of Social and Human Sciences continues its diligent scientific activities, as the Department of Psychology and Educational Sciences, in coordination with the Laboratory of Education, Prevention and Sustainable Social Development, on today, May 28, 2024, organized an international forum (in person and virtual) under the title “The Teaching Problematic between the Challenges of Digitization and Quality Requirements. The event witnessed the participation of many professors and researchers from inside and outside the country, with the presence of the University Rector, Prof. “Berrabah Mohamed Echeikh, the dean of the Faculty Prof. Bouyahia Nasreddine, the Vice-deans, the teaching staff, and the students of the Department of Psychology and Educational Sciences.
The timing of this forum comes in view of the great importance of this topic, especially in light of the current global digital revolution in various sectors, especially the Education, and Higher Education and Scientific Research sectors, inwhich the University Rector refered during his opening speech, especially after the 2019 Covid-19 pandemic, which strengthened efforts to develop distance e-learning mechanisms that are compatible with the challenges of digitization, in addition to focus on the quality of education.
The scientific meeting ended with several fruitful outcomes, which reflect the necessity of adapting to this new digital reality and balancing between the virtual educational space and the quality provided in a way that serves the educational system in Algeria in the same level with the global technological changes.
