The second international workshop entitled ” Smart Agriculture obtimization to Climate Change Adaptation” was held today, Tuesday, 19 November, 2024, at the Research Laboratories Complex, under the supervision of the local coordinator of the “CICLICA-PRIMA PROJECT-S2”, Dr. “Sami Taouil” from the University of Djillali Bounaama Khemis Miliana, in the presence of Mr. Vice-rector in charge of Pedagogy, Professor Dr. “Djelloul Ben Anaya” and deans of faculties, and with the participation of various partners and actors in this regard, especially distinguished guests such as the Turkish partner in the “CICLICA” project, Mr. “Hamid GUBBUK” and the two Spanish partners: “Francisco Pedro Slcedo” in his quality as coordinator of the CICLICA Project, Ms. MUNUERA PEREZ Ma TERESA” as a project partner representing “SISTEMA AZUD, S.A”, and also Ms. “MONERA LORCA Maria Mar” as a CICLICA Project Consultant. In addition to the economic partners, representatives of local institutions such as the President of the Agricultural Room of Ain Defla, representatives of the National Office of Irrigation and Drainage, as well as professors and researchers from various universities in the country mainly: Boumerdes, Chlef, Oran…, in addition to PHD students, and students of the Bachelor’s and Master’s level at the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences and Earth Sciences.
This meeting was marked by fruitful scientific discussions among the attendees, and an opportunity to exchange experiences between the various stakeholders on the subject of the international scientific workshop during the four axes:
– New technology used in irrigation and agricultural issues for the “Carob” and “Jojoba” trees. (University of Djilali Bounaama / SISTEMA AZUD S.A).
